What is Art Journal Advent?

Art Journal Advent is all about mindfulness and self-care in December.

With daily journal prompts - from December 1st until the 24th - we encourage you to take some "time-out" by simply taking some time for yourself and your creativity. 

Our prompts are a wonderful mix of self reflection, mindfulness and creative fun!

How does it work?

Tamara and I will be sharing daily art journal prompts from December 1st til the 24th on our Instagram account @ArtJournalAdvent

These daily prompts are an invitation to get creative. And yes, of course we realize that you have a lot on your to-do list in December... that's exactly why we would like to encourage you to take a short time-out each day for your creative play. Me-time amidst a busy and bustling December.

Here's how you can join us ...

Check out @ArtJournalAdvent on Instagram, where we will be releasing our daily prompts. Feel free to create whatever comes to mind. If you would like to share your page on Instagram, then please use the community hashtag #artjournaladvent2024 or #aja24 and tag us at @ArtJournalAdvent. We do try our very best to support the community (yes, that means you) and repost in our Stories.

There will also be some new and cool announcements on our account mid November.  So stay tuned!

How much does it cost?

It doesn't cost a thing - except the time that you that take, which is an investment in yourself! "Me time" - more important than ever!

Please keep in mind that you don't have to make an extravagant page and you don't have to do this each and every day if you don't find the time. It's sometimes nice to just sit down, take a deep breath and center your thoughts on the daily prompt. Whatever and however you choose to work with the daily prompts is totally up to you.
